THE DESIGN/BUILD PROCESS
The process from idea to finished product is as easy as 1,2,3:
It all starts with your ideas. Then,
1. Determine your budget and desired timeline. We'll let you know what we can do within your parameters. Or, leave the figuring to us. Either way, contact us and we'll work with you to determine the most appropriate materials and plan of action, according to the info you give us about your project -- your intent for it, it's probable lifespan, etc. We usually begin with a lot of dialog with you, whether via email, over the phone, or in person.
Design:
2. Often clients desire us to be involved with the design stage, working with their ideas to create freehand drawings or virtual 3D models in Sketchup so you won't just have to imagine the end product. Here's where the fun begins -- for both of us -- the stage where your ideas becomes a visual reality.
Build:
3. Once we have a go ahead to begin fabrication, we purchase needed materials and gear up for the intended build processes using the design as a kind of blueprint -- making the design stage's visual reality a tangible one. During the build stage, we continue to keep you informed about your project's progress, regularly corresponding and sending you in-progress photos. Once your project is completed, depending on where it needs to go, we carefully deliver, prepare it for shipping, or install it.
